About Us

Hello, and welcome to All Greece Travel. I am Yannis Divramis, the founder. This page tells you who I am, how the site started and what you can expect when you plan a trip with us.

I was born in Greece and grew up between two islands, Milos and Santorini. Boat rides, rocky coves and long sunsets were part of ordinary life for me. Today I use that local knowledge to help visitors plan trips that feel like the real country, not like a brochure.

How helping friends turned into a travel business

It started with messages. Which island is right for me? Is Meteora worth the drive? Can you plan one week for us? I answered every one, and the questions kept coming.

Friends told their friends, and soon I was planning trips for couples, families and small groups I had never met. A few asked me to guide them in person. That is how All Greece Travel grew from a hobby into a real travel business.

I travel for a full month or more each summer. I swam in the hidden coves of Milos long before they were famous, and I keep returning to Mystras, Messinia, Laconia, Patmos, Skiathos, Crete, Corfu and Lefkada. These trips tell me what is still great and what has changed.

What we stand for

Five rules shape every plan we make:

  • Real places – You taste local food, meet local people and see spots that are not on every postcard.
  • Local knowledge – I speak the language and travel the country all year, so my advice is current.
  • Honest advice – Clear facts, realistic plans and no promises I cannot keep.
  • Quality first – I would rather plan fewer trips well than push mass-made packages.
  • Your time and budget – A trip can be simple or luxurious. We match the plan to your style.

How we plan a trip to Greece

We start with you. A couple on a first trip to Europe wants something different from a family with young kids or a group of friends who love beaches. We build the plan around your situation, not a fixed template.

We mix famous sights with quiet corners. The Acropolis, Santorini and Meteora earn their fame, and our Meteora day trip from Athens is a good example. We also point you to calm coves, small villages and sunset spots with fewer crowds.

We count real travel time. Greece looks small on a map, but ferries, mountain roads and summer traffic eat hours. If a plan of six islands in seven days will only wear you out, we say so.

We check every partner. Hotels, drivers, boat crews and local hosts all have to earn a place in our plans. I know many of them in person after years on the road.

We stay personal. You talk to me or to someone from our small team, never to a call center.

What we can arrange for you

Private tours and small groups

Small groups let a tour guide give you real attention, so this is where we focus. Here is what we set up:

  • Private tours in Athens, from the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora to food walks and street culture.
  • Cultural tours for friends, families and clubs that share an interest in history, food or photography.
  • Day trips from Athens to Meteora, Delphi, Nafplio, Mystras and Pelion.
  • Themed tours built around myths, Byzantine history, ancient ruins, sailing, hiking, wine or food.

Our tour guides hold a license, have years of experience and speak English. Many travelers tell us the tour guide is what turned a good day into a great one.

Island hopping and mainland trips

Island hopping is my favorite part of the job. I visit islands every summer to test ferry links, try new hotels and keep our advice fresh. For example, a boat day to Kleftiko Bay on Milos is still one of my favorite days at sea.

I can help you pick islands that fit your style, whether you want romance, family fun, nightlife, quiet or wild nature. I also link islands in a sensible order, so you do not lose days on ferries, and I can add mainland stops such as Athens, Meteora and the Peloponnese.

Full itineraries and travel support

If you want a whole trip, not just a single tour, we can plan it from start to finish:

  • A route for every day, built around your dates and pace.
  • Hotels, villas and family-run stays, from boutique rooms to simple, clean places.
  • Ferries, flights, private transfers and, when it makes sense, a rental car.
  • Help on the ground if a ferry is late or the weather turns.
  • Extras such as restaurant tips, reservations and small surprises for honeymoons or anniversaries.

I want to be the one person you can ask about anything, from your first idea until you fly home.

Why travelers pick our Greece travel company

Picking a tour operator in Greece comes down to three things: local knowledge, skilled tour guides and safety. Here is what that means for us.

  • I am a native Greek speaker who travels the country all year, so your plan never rests on old information.
  • Only licensed tour guides and checked drivers work with us, because safety and comfort come first.
  • Our routes use realistic timing and allow for ferries, traffic and the season.
  • We adapt to your pace and budget, and we explain what each booking includes, so there are no surprise fees at the end.
  • A real person answers your questions while you plan and while you travel, and many times that person is me.

To me, a reliable operator does what it promises, answers fast, gives honest advice and builds long relationships with tour guides, hotels and returning guests. We hold ourselves to that standard every season.

The people behind All Greece Travel

My name is all over this page, yet I am not alone. Through the years I have built a circle of licensed tour guides I trust. They know history and local life, speak English and are patient with families, older travelers and small groups.

Behind them is a small team. Travel planners turn your wishes into plans for every day. Customer care handles confirmations and changes. Local partners include boat crews on Milos and Santorini and hotel owners in Crete and the Peloponnese.

We stay small on purpose. That is how we keep every trip personal.

How to start planning with us

  1. Write to us. Tell us when you travel, how many people come and what kind of trip you imagine.
  2. We talk. A few emails, or a short call, help us learn your priorities, budget and pace.
  3. We send options. You get a draft plan, or a few versions, with routes, islands and tours.
  4. We adjust it together. Tell us what to change until the plan feels right.
  5. We book. Once you say yes, we lock in hotels, tour guides and transfers.
  6. You travel, and we stay reachable. You get a clear plan and numbers to call while you are in Greece.

This works whether you plan months ahead or only a few weeks before you fly.

Contact us

The quickest way to reach us is our contact page. Send your dates, your budget and your interests, and I will read your message myself.

You will usually find me in Athens, on Milos or on Santorini, and I travel across the country, but I am always reachable online. The more details you share, the faster we can send a realistic plan.

Frequently asked questions

What is All Greece Travel?

All Greece Travel is a small travel company run by Yannis Divramis, who was born and raised in Greece. We build flexible trips with local partners, licensed tour guides and honest advice, covering both the islands and the mainland.

Who will guide my tour?

Sometimes it is me, and sometimes it is one of our licensed tour guides. All of them speak English, know their region well and are used to families and small groups. We pick each tour guide for knowledge, patience and reliability.

What kinds of tours and services do you arrange?

We arrange tours for one family or a small group in Athens, day trips such as Meteora and Delphi, themed tours, island-hopping plans and full itineraries. We can also book hotels, transfers, ferries and extras like restaurant reservations.

How does planning work?

You tell us when you travel, how many people come and what style you like. We reply with a draft plan, adjust it with your feedback and book everything once you agree. You then get a clear plan and support during the trip.

When do I start planning?

Four to eight months ahead is ideal, especially for June to September, when ferries and hotels sell out. May and October are calmer, so you can plan a little later, but an early start always gives you more choice.

How do I combine islands and the mainland?

Many travelers begin with a few days in Athens, add a stop like Delphi, Meteora or the Peloponnese, and end on one or two islands. We help you choose a sensible order, so you spend less time in transit and more time enjoying each place.
